FARTHINGTONS PRIVACY POLICY

Farthingtons is committed to protecting your privacy, and takes its responsibilities regarding the security of Client information very seriously. This policy explains how we use customer information and how we protect your privacy.

Use of customer information

We require certain information to allow us to process an enquiry. This includes the name, address, telephone number, and email address of the person contacting us as well as those of the people who are relocating.

This information allows us to process requests and to send confirmation and information by email or post. We ask for telephone numbers so that we can contact enquirers and Clients urgently if there is a problem or if it is more convenient for them.

We may occasionally use the information we collect to notify enquirers and Clients about new Farthingtons services and special offers we think you may find valuable or of interest. If you would prefer not to receive this information please email us accordingly.

Occasionally we may ask you to email us with your opinion on a particular subject, and may publish a selection of these comments on our web site. However, if you advise us that you do not wish to have your comment and name published, we will not do so.

Site tracking

We use tracking software to monitor customer traffic patterns and site usage to help us develop the design and layout of our websites to better meet the needs of visitors to them. This includes Farthingtons.com, Relocating.ws, Just-Rent.com and any other websites we may make available to the general public from time to time. All such websites will be listed in this document. This software does not enable us to capture any personally identifying information.

Security to protect your information

As required by the UK Data Protection Acts of 1984 and 1998, we follow strict security procedures in the storage and disclosure of information that we have been given to prevent unauthorised access. Our security procedures mean that we may occasionally request proof of identity before we are able to disclose sensitive information.

Disclosure to third parties

Farthingtons does not sell, trade, or rent personal information to others. We never disclose information about a Client to any other person or organisation without their consent unless there is an emergency situation that requires it or we are required to do so by law.

Farthingtons reserves the right to pass enquirers and Clients information on to trustworthy third parties that we use for the provision of certain services, for instance booking hotels and car hire services quickly and easily by transferring details from the Farthingtons data files to our partners' booking forms. If a subsequent booking is not made with our partner, the personal information transferred is deleted.

Farthingtons may provide aggregate statistics about our customers, sales, traffic patterns, and related site information to reputable third-party vendors, but these statistics will include no personally identifying information.

Your consent

In using any Farthingtons web site, you consent to the collection and use of this information by Farthingtons Limited or Farthingtons LLC in the ways described above.
